We celebrate God’s gift of sabbath and carry its rhythm with us
From Easter through to September, we intentionally set time for rest, prayer, and renewal. And the Fall Retreat is the culmination of the Sabbath season in our community, where we step away from the city to rest, enjoy creation, pray together, and connect with one another. It’s a time to celebrate God’s gift of sabbath and carry its rhythm with us into the rest of the year.
Outside of our meal times, group activities and our Sunday service, the whole weekend is free for making use of the camp site to rest, relax, connect with one another, play sports etc.
Our retreat weekend reminds us of God’s sustaining hand and presence: Jesus is holding all things together. Jesus is inviting you and I into his renewing presence!
Stay tuned for next year!
The 2026 Fall Retreat took place on September 11 - September 13, 2026 at Camp Galilee
"Jesus, speaking of things unseen, often talked about “how much more.” If you, though evil, know how to give good gifts, how much more does your Father in heaven?…Take anything you delight in here on earth: Your children. Your craftwork. Your hot tub. The dewed green of a fairway on a July morning. The sweet corn from your garden, butter-drenched. Enjoy them all. Find rest in them. But imagine how much more awaits you
